The Elk River Tennis Association exists to promote the development of tennis as a means of recreation and physical fitness for youth and adults in Elk River and surrounding communities, to encourage through tennis, healthy competition while teaching good sportsmanship and character.                                                

The Elk River Tennis Association, with the help of coaches and parents, offer community tennis players the opportunity to play tennis via USTA leagues, organized drills, group & private lessons, and a variety of tournaments.  ERTA also supports the local High School tennis programs, and regularly maintains the area tennis courts, giving local recreation and the Boys and Girls club programs a place to play.
