Cassandra Brown won the Girls Singles 12th-grade-and-under (next year's grades) beating Claire Janc of Elk River 6-0,6-0, Abby Farniok of Delano 6-1,6-1, and, in the finals, Ashlee Finn-Bruhn, of Delano, 6-0,6-2.
Cassandra teamed with her 8-year-old sister, Megan, and won 2 of their 3 matches, finishing third in Girls Doubles. Meagan is young and little, but held her own well enough for the Browns to defeat Madeline Kreuser and Rachel Anderson of Elk River in the first round, 10-4. The Browns couldn't quite get past McKaila Granning and Katie O'Connell of Elk River in the semis, losing 8-10. They rebounded to win the third place match, 10-6, over Marleen Millner and Taylor Lussier-Flescher, of Elk River.
Katie O'Connell and Granning won their first two rounds of doubles, then lost the finals to Abby Farniok and Ashlee Finn-Bruhn of Delano, 10-1.
The day before, Katie O'Connell won the Girls Singles 10th-grade-and-under division. She defeated Allison Sandlass of Delano 6-1.6-3, then battled past Taylor Lussier-Flescher of Elk River in the semis, 7-6, 6-4, before winning the finals over Laura Finn of Delano, 6-4, 6-3.
Katie's younger sister, Rebecca, competed in the same division. She lost to Laura Finn, 1-6,1-6, then defeated Samantha Noetzelman of Delano in consolation, 6-1, 6-2, before losing the consolation finals to Allison Sandlass, 1-6, 4-6.
Chris and Matt Odegard of St. Michael turned in dominating performances for the boys divisions.
Chris won the Boys Singles 12th-grade-and-under division and Matt won the consolation title. Chris beat Bob Johnson of Elk River 6-4,6-2; Matt Hauwiller of Maple Grove 6-3, 6-1; and, in the finals, Jack Zirkle of Andover, 6-3, 6-1.
Matt lost his first round to Keagan Blanke of Elk River, 7-5, 6-2, then defeated Phillip Gudim of Becker in a marathon 4-6, 6-4, 7-5, before winning the consolation over Bob Johnson of Elk River in an exciting 10-8 match
Chris and Matt then teamed up to win the title in the Boys Doubles division.
Blancke went on to win third place over Matt Hauwiller 10-9).

Jay Jarmoluk of Elk River placed second in the Boys Singles 8th-grade-and-under division. Zak Steichen took consolation in the Boys Singles 10th-grade division. McKaila Granning took third place in the Girls Singles 10th-grade division. Blancke teamed with Clayton Johnson to place third in Boys Doubles. Leah Koehler teamed with Grace Zachman to capture consolation in Girls Doubles.
